Hello,

We've tested NVads A10 v5-series preview and we have some issues.
We are trying to make renders with Unity but it's using DIrectX drivers and not Nvidia one (we installed the one they recommanded)
And that is currenlty working with our NV6 VMs but not this one.

Thanks for your help
Jeremy

    Hello, @Jeremy Schotte !

Why aren't my NVadsA10 v5-series drivers being detected?
Most of the NVIDIA powered VMs support CUDA or GRID drivers (which can be installed using the NVIDIA GPU Driver Extension) however the NVadsA10 v5-series is still in preview and has special operating system and driver instructions/requirements (which will be updated and included in the extensions before GA):

    Supported operating systems and drivers

To take advantage of the GPU capabilities of Azure NVadsA10v5-series VMs, NVIDIA GPU drivers must be installed.

During preview you need to manually install the NVIDIA GPU-P driver for Linux and Windows. We'll release updated drivers before GA and include it in extensions and all the standard documentation pages.

During preview we support the following guest operating systems.

    • Windows Server 2019(RS5)
    • Windows 10 20H2
    • Windows 11
    • Ubuntu 18.04
    • Ubuntu 20.04
    • CentOS 7.9
    • RHEL 7.9
