Visio plan 2 desktop version crashes continually.

I have read all the advice on the forum and I am now at the stage where it crashes after every save operation.

I am using office 365 on subscription and Visio Plan 2.

I have disabled Enhanced Metafile Optimization and Graphics Acceleration, downloaded and installed all office updates, repaired visio using the online option.

I am sick of it. Totally unteliable when the previous 2007 series was so reliable.

I have no other programs open when this occurs.

A Microsoft Solution would be appreciated, albeit I understand that once you have purchased something ftom MS they wash their hands of it.

Hi @PaulFredericks-3018,

This should solve the problem.

File - Options - Advanced in Visio, and checking out the "Disable Enhanced Metafile optimization" box to disable this option, under Display.

I’ve already done that. Made no difference.

@PaulFredericks-3018,

If the method provided above doesn't help, I recommend you to repair an Office application.

Yep did that as well. This appears to be a well known bug.

Just need Microsoft to come up with a reliable patch.

Thanks for your help, but. Ireally have read all of the advice from contrivuors.
