I have been trying to access my business email and office 365 for DAYS. It's an email that has been passed down to me from previous staff to I don't have the Microsoft authenticator app and previous staff don't know it either. It keeps asking me to verify myself but I can't log into my email to verify myself and I can't log into microsoft authenticator to get a code. It's like this vicious cycle.
I have been trying to call Microsoft customer service and I was connected with data protection team but they told me many times that I have to wait for an engineer support person to call me back. It's been so many days and I'm so upset with the customer service because this should be addressed ASAP. Not few business days later...
On top of that, calls gets disconnected frequently and it seems like no one can offer me a solution as to how I can access my emails or expect a call back.
I've tried everything!
Now I have to sit there and twiddle my thumbs until an engineer support person calls me back and I don't know when that will be.
My account is the outlook on the Web with a Microsoft 365 business subscription.
The problem is I am the administrator on the account which is why I need the help of an engineer support person to help me get access to it again. They already verified me but data protection team can't go into my account and add my other security information that can help me log in.
It will be my fifth day waiting for someone to call me back and I'm extremely frustrated!
Anyone else experience this same issue?
Literally any advice would help at this point.
