Hi,

For past couple of days , We are facing this issue where We are not able to connect to 2 of our linux VMs via putty.
It is giving "access denied" error but same user and password that used to work perfectly until few days back.

From portal, it is showing message "virtual machine status is not ready" for those Vms.

We tried rebooting them, and also tried redeployment but it did not help. Our subscription is having basic plan so can not take support from Microsoft over the issue. Pls suggest.

Thanks

    Hello @Chandra Manral ,
Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft QnA.
I understand that you are unable to connect to your Linux VMs using the same username and password that you used two days back.
Have you tried to reset password for the same user by navigating to "Reset password" section? Are you still not able to connect to the VM even after resetting password for an existing username, or creating a new username password?
Let me know if the above step you have already tried, then I can accordingly suggest further steps. Thanks.
