Azure Storage Reserved Capacity

Dear,

In term of cost optimization, I would like to know 40G (Archive) which can apply Azure storage reserved capacity (1 year) ? As I checked the cost calculator it is started showing from 100 TB.

For Cloud storage archive, our client wants to backup data (Video data) to Cloud which storage option is better (Blob or ADLS Gen 2) ?
For access frequency, the client would like to review when the management asked but not frequent access.
ADLS Gen 2 which is support soft delete features?

Azure Storage Reserved Capacity helps you lower your data storage cost by committing to one-year or three-years of Azure Storage on Block Blob or Azure Data Lake Storage.

You can use Azure Data Lake Storage
Yes it's been supported. . Soft delete for blobs capability for Azure Data Lake Storage protects files and directories from accidental deletes by retaining the deleted data in the system for a specified period of time. During the retention period, you can restore a soft-deleted object, file or directory, to its state at the time it was deleted. After the retention period has expired, the object is permanently deleted. For more information, please refer to this article

ADLS Gen2 = Azure Blob Storage + ADLS Gen1 , ADLS Gen 2 = Low cost for Analysis.

Additional information: Reservations are available today for 100 TB or 1 PB blocks, with higher discounts applicable on 1 PB blocks. In the reservation purchase experience through Azure portal, Microsoft may provide you recommendations based on your previous usage to help determine the sizes you should purchase.

Azure Storage Reserved Capacity is purchased at a single subscription or shared resource group scope. Therefore, reservation is applied to your usage aggregated to the purchased scope and cannot be limited to a specific storage account, container or object within the subscription.
