SMS_AD_SECURITY_GROUP_DISCOVERY_AGENT creating Crash Dump Logs.

For the last few months we keep getting crash dump logs daily created by the SMS_AD_SECURITY_GROUP_DISCOVERY_AGENT and haven't found a solution to this issue. Excerpt of the crash log below.

Does it happen when you manuall trigger discovery? Have you check you av to make sure it is not blocking discovery?

Thanks for your posting on Q&A.

Please help to confirm whether the account have the read permission to the group first.

We could review the adsgdis.log and confirm why the error occurred.

Also we could try to disable the Active Directory Group Discovery and then enable it again. Then we could confirm whether the issue disappear.

Thank you for the response. I checked the AD groups and verified the user accounts have the appropriate access, all of that looks good.

I checked the adsgis.log and didn't see any errors there.
