Hello @Display-8788 Sorry for the inconvenience caused!

I understand your concern about being billed for the subscriptions that were cancelled/deleted.

Not sure, how did you get your Azure subscription. Was that from a partner or did you get any azure plan?

1. In case of Azure plans, the billing period is standard 'starting from 1st of a month to end of a month'.

2. But for legacy offers, billing period used to be the start of the subscription to the next month. For example: If subscription was created on 17th of a month, then its billing period would be 17th of this month to 16th of next month. Next billing cycle would 17th of next month to 16th of the other month and so on.

Your subscription may be a legacy offer which could be the reason you received a billing from Microsoft for you Azure subscription. You could create an incident related to the billing - https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/support/create-ticket/

Select Billing in the Issue Type field.

Billing support is free of charge:

Can you re-confirm the name of the subscription has any of these characters? , . '!
If yes, please re-enter the subscription and try deleting it.
