How to know which clients are connecting exchange online using basic authentication

Hi,

How would i know which clients are connecting exchange online over basic authentication?
How to check at end user end, with Outlook connection setting if they are using basic authentication?

@AndyDavid Thanks Andy, just wanted to clarify is Legacy Authentication is equal to Basic authentication. Just wanted to ensure we are not missing out on anything since we want to ensure no client gets impacted since basic authentication is being turned off by Microsoft for Exchange Online only.

Correct. Legacy Auth is Basic auth.

For end users, they could hold Ctrl and right click on Outlook icon, then choose "Connection Status":

For modern authentication clients, the "Authn" will show as "Bearer*".
