Azure Virtual Desktop - Camera redirection in HTML5 client

Hi,

I've been having an issue where my AVD host pool has audio and camera redirection that works perfectly through Remote Desktop client. However, when connecting via HTML5, only audio works.

I can't seem to find any documentation that explicitly states that this is an expected behaviour (example: HTML5 doesn't yet support camera redirection) or if there is a misconfiguration in my host pool.

My question is: does HTML5 support camera redirection and if so, is there any additional configurations necessary besides camerastoredirect:s:*?

As far as my research is considered, camera direction is specific to applications settings, and it doesn't support on HTML5. If you remote into your personal desktop, there are additional redirections that you can configure in the additional Settings for the session. If your remote desktop or apps are managed by your organization, your admin can enable or disable redirections through Group Policy settings or RDP properties

Unfortunately camera redirection is not currently supported for the web client.
