unrecognized guid format

When I moved a web application (mainly a web part) to a different server. I received "Unrecognized guid format" error. I need to re-create NewForm_C.aspx; EditForm_C.aspx and DispForm_C.aspx (using same web part), it works. I checked thought the front-end and back-end files. There is no use Gid? However, it only happen in one application (the older one). All other applications are fine (no need to re-create the forms). I just wonder what happen because change the server?

Hi @ErBoGuan-2779,

As far as I know, from the error report, it looks like the guid is not set correctly, however it usually occurs when doing migration. By the way, are you wanting to migrate the web application from one farm to another farm? Here is a document about migrate web-application to another farm, you can refer to.
