After registering for class and then signing up with Azure.
I come to understand I will not use Azure until into week 12 (3 months into the future).
Can I hibernate the account as to not use the 30 day trial window? Is there a way to remove this account 30 day timer and wait to start it again?
There is no way to pause the free trial. Once you sign up for free trial, you will have to use for a month and later it will get disabled.
But if you want, you can raise subscription and billing related questions with the Azure support team from the portal though, or create a free billing support ticket.
That said, you should still be able to accomplish a lot for free and hopefully be able to use what you need to get through your class (though it depends somewhat on the course structure). If you sign up for a Pay-As-You-Go account you won't get charged unless you use services that incur a fee. When I was taking an Azure course, I just created a Pay-As-You-Go account with a credit card on file and was able to accomplish everything I needed for the class even after my trial ran out. You can publish 10 free web apps, for instance, and use all of the free features listed here: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/free-services/
You'll also be able to use a lot of free demo features through the labs on the Learning site.
