Attempting to lock a file through TFVC Rest API

We are trying to set a file lock thru the TFVC Rest API. When we attempt to use the changetype of lock which seems like the right choice, we get an error that the changetype value is not supported. Can you point us in the right direction.

Currently, TFVC is not supported on Microsoft Q&A.
