SharePoint 365 Employee search directory not working perfect all the time

Hi All,

My SharePoint 365 search directory (for employees with AD accounts) is not working perfect all the time. Most of the time when I type someone's full name, first name, or last name. The search results come back empty or it takes too long to load.

Do you know how can this be improved?

Hi @MarianoC-7543 ,

Are you using SharePoint Online default search box or are you using some custom search box?

HI, thanks for getting back to me.

For this team site, I'm using the "search directory" web part, that comes with SharePoint.

I would suggest you open a ticket with Microsoft for further help.
