I would like my processor added to the Windows 11 supported CPUs for upgrade Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770

Not sure why some of the processors are listed and others not? Seems a bit strange this is not a Surface computer but a full desktop computer, that exceeds all minimum requirements.

My Dell XPS 8500 desktop is old, but that still does not make any sense. I have seen people download ISO images for Windows 10, and Windows 11 and copy the WIM file over from 11 to 10 and fake out the installer... So why not just add the processor to the list ?

Unfortunately this processor is not supported officially. Still you can try this:

Windows 11 installed just fine on Intel 3rd-gen (i7-3770) (no SecureBoot, no TPM, no GPT), using tricks but no hacked files

Besides the minimum processor requirements like TPM 2.0 MS also eliminated processors based upon performance and reliability issues. Drawing a line in the sand was a decision they made. While you can try and install Win11 on an unsupported machine do be aware it is unsupported and may not work in the future. It is a risk you elect to take.

Personally I don't think that Win11 is worth the upgrade at this point. There are too many things that are just not really ready for prime time over Win10. Irrelevant this forum isn't where you request that processors be added to the supported list. You'd need to use the feedback tool in Windows for that I believe.
