What operation are you trying to perform in last screenshot?

Last screenshot was to attempt to install the hyper-v service into my ethernet adapter. It will not let me. It was attempt to try and solve the bigger issue. Hyper-v networking will not run.

That's what I suspected. Do not edit the properties of a vSwitch as this will break things. When you create a new external vSwitch the internet protocols are removed from the adapter and the Hyper-V Extensible Switch protocol is added turning that physical port into a multi-port virtual switch. Connect your VMs to this vSwitch and use each VM's vEthernet to configure the addressing in the exact same manner as if it were a physical NIC

I cannot even bring up the hyper-v network manager to look at switch values. Refer back to the event viewer output. I cannot even create new VM's. It says it's not connected and there are no options in the dropdown,

May want to check with the vendor about support and or mobo setup for a type 1 hypervisor.

It was a type 2. This was working once before. I cannot pinpoint what changed. Is there some way to erase or reset switches?

Hyper-v is a type 1 hypervisor. You could try uninstalling the feature, reboot, reinstall it.

I'd still check with the vendor about support and or mobo setup for a type 1 hypervisor, then I'd probably also clean install it, patch fully and try again.

Just checking if there's any progress or updates?

No. You really didn't offer a solution. Not sure who you think is my vendor? Microsoft? I'm very sure it's a registery setting somewhere that persist even after hyper-v is uninstalled to break hyper-v switch misconfiguration. I was using an external switch setting. Everything worked. I cannot even create a new VM, now. Because, networking will not work.
