Hi Experts!

Just to give you a quick background of infra, we have the list below:

  1. 2 Connection Broker Windows 2016 Standard - VM's
  2. 2 Session host ( Physical Server ) Both have Virtualization Role for VM's and for Apps
  3. Rd gateway - VM
  4. Rd Web page - VM
  5. Rd Licensing Server

We are using VDI on microsoft on premise for 5000 users, On the Collection we have the windows 7 with 50 Virtual Desktops and Windows 10 with 50 Virtual Desktops. The setup we use for VDI on premise is pero session based or standard, meaning most of the time when you log off/ disconnect to Virtual Desktops then reconnect back, it's more likely you will redirect and reconnect to different Virtual desktop which is correct. Then here's the issue, We tried to connect on Virtual Desktops in windows 10 named VDIWin10pooled01 and save 1 file then the next day we reconnect again to Virtual Desktop but this time it is different VM now named VDIWin10pooled02. the issue is the file was suddenly lost even if we use the same profile and login credentials. we tested it on windows 7 virtual desktops it properly working event if you try to connect to different VM's the file is still in their.

The Profile Disk folder creating UVHD disk inside and no other disk on their but in windows 7 profile disk folder there are many VHDX .

Thanks
Homer
