Login rejected on Gmail

Recently, I switched from Windows Live Mail to Office 365 and Outlook 365 to conform to the imposed new rules of Google Gmail. Since yesterday, I haven’t any access to my mails through Outlook.. Each time, I was asked to enter a username and a password, and then I receive a message saying that the email server rejected my login.

It seems that I should make a login through OAuth to have access. I search on the Microsoft Learn and support and find that there is an awful procedure to follow.

My installation is very simple, just one PC connected to the mail, no mail server, no nothing. Is there a simple way to conform to that new rule? I’m using POP protocol. Thanks in advance.

    Hi @Michel Therin ,

    Welcome to our forum!

As I know, Gmail has announced that "To help keep your account secure, from May 30, 2022, Google no longer supports the use of third-party apps or devices which ask you to sign in to your Google Account using only your username and password". Affected by this, please try the following steps to solve the problem:

1.Please log in to Gmail web mail and confirm the POP and IMAP access are enabled in Setting page.

    2.Enable two-step verification (2SV).

    3.Create & use App Passwords.
