We are currently using Azure Cache for Redis 4 and are thinking of upgrading to 6 due to vulnerabilities. I would like to confirm that the minor version of Azure Cache for Redis is Redis 6.2.6?

Currently we are supporting the minor version 6.0 and as per our last check with product team there was no date for 6.2 version however I am reaching out to Product team again to confirm on this.

As per the internal Redis team, currently there are no plans to support 6.2.X in the immediate future. Mostly we will likely jump straight to 7.0. Redis 7.0 is planned for release on our Enterprise tier towards the last quarter of this year but could take longer in the other tiers.

It is important to note that security fixes are pushed in existing versions from the latest versions of Redis back into our offering, so we might miss out on features but do not miss out on security updates from the newer versions.
