Cumulative security updates applied offline with downloads from windows catalog through April, 2022.

May 2022 and June 2022 updates failed;

Cumulative security update kb5014699 fails to install on Windows 10 21H2

Windows update online installes other updates but kb5014699 fails with error .

Error code: (0x8007000d)

and

Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x8024200B: Security Update for Windows (KB5014699).

Windows update catalog msu package download and install fails.

    Yea same issues here, tried all the stuff you tried and have been messing with it since the update released. Now im just afraid i may have hurt my system now in other ways while trying to fix it but idk its probably fine. hopefully windows fixes this!

    Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having issues related to installing Windows update.

    Please try Reset Windows Update Components

    Disable any Antivirus program or Windows firewall you may have for temporary purpose.

    Reset the Software distribution folder where your computer saves the temporary update files.

    First, type cmd in the Windows Search bar and right-click on the Command Prompt app. Select Run as administrator.
    Then, run the following commands one by one and press Enter after each one:
    net stop bits
    net stop wuauserv
    net stop appidsvc
    net stop cryptsvc
    Del "%APPDAATA%\Microsoft\Network\Downloader*.*"
    rmdir %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution /S /Q
    rmdir %systemroot%\system32\catroot2 /S /Q
    regsvr32.exe /s atl.dll
    regsvr32.exe /s urlmon.dll

    WINDOWS 10 PRO, 64bits
    Cannot install such update.
    From the log:

    I also downloaded the offline installer from here: https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB5014699
    It installed with no errors, then I reboot and I get the message that UPDATE COULD'NT BE APPLIED (it's in italian, so maybe with ENG S.O. it's slightly different)

    Problem is still there.
    I guess that it's a MS problem.
