ClassicIaaSMigration - IaaS to ARM migration failed after Commit

Hi. Validate and Prepare steps passed but a migration of one VM from IaaS to ARM failed. After two days, it is still not possible to "Retry commit" or "Abort" migration. I have decided to destroy the old service and create a new one under ARM but i can't stop or delete old resources under failed migration process. What can I do now? We have a basic support only so I can't create support ticket. Why is Microsoft forcing us to do a migration without free support in case the migration process failed and can't be repaired without support!

Thank you for the feedback. This is definitely a feature gap causing bad customer experience. Please give me some time to fix this so you and other customers do not face similar blockers in the future.

Was your stuck deployment deleted from backend?

Hi @TanmayGore-7853 .

Thanks for the answer. I have placed a support ticket. Now we are waiting for support techs to resolve the stuck migration. I will refer and close this Question afterwards.

@RomanNeduchal-9445, we now provide free support for this ASM to ARM migration. You need to use this link to contact support for technical assistance with the migration. They can help unlock the VM or rollback migration. Let us know if you have more questions.

Hi,

I have attempted VM migration from ASM to ARM and it got stuck in preparing state. I have no Retry or Abort options.

I can retry the migration or even re-create the VM but I need some assistance to rollback the migration. I tired to create a ticket following the link posted above by @TanmayGore-7853, which mentioned that free support for ASM to ARM migration is available but I am not able to create a ticket without upgrading my support plan (I have basic support only).

How can I get help with this?
