  1. Is this design an example of deployment stamp pattern?
  2. Since Azure Front Door in global in scope, why Azure Traffic Manager to required? I understand ATM is used for load balancing among Azure regions.
  3. How is the region of a user is identified? Today I am in India and tomorrow I could be in Europe?
  4. Is there any data sync done among regional data stores to support regional outage?
  5. Why we need to use CDN if we are already using Azure Front door ? Doesn't AFD provide all the features provided by CDN?

Sorry for too many questions, I was confused so asking for your help!!

Appreciate your insightful response. Thank you.

    Hi @anil kumar ,

As discussed in the comments, the blog post you highlighted is an outdated one.

However, you can use the below reference document for Azure architecture.
    Refer : https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/architecture/reference-architectures/containers/aks-mission-critical/mission-critical-intro

    Thanks,
    Kapil.
