SCOM 2019 installation error

Hello All ,

I'm not able to complete SCOM 2019 installation in one of my lab environments. I have 2 lab environment and one was a successful install using the same set up files.

The installation page seems to get stuck on the " Importing system Network Management Management Pack" message. It does not proceed beyond this point and eventually fails.

Please advise

I have added the account which i'm using to run in the Administrator groups in the server. Added the account in the SQL log in and provided sysadmin permissions. 1 Management server and 2 DB servers for DB and DW . Please find the error logs from the setup wizard logs

Hi @peewhy,

We would need some information about your SCOM environment:

  • SQL Server version

  • SQL Server Reporting Services version

  • SQL Server located locally / remotely?

  • Is this a standalone SQL Server or SQL Cluster / SQL Always On?

Do you have local administrator privileges on both the SCOM servers and the SQL servers?
Have you also verified that the firewall is not blocking?

Hello Leon ,

Thanks for your directions. It was a rookie mistake. Found the database was not provisioned with appropriate space and this was halting the installation.
