this is the error message i'm getting while I try to install the update called "2020-09 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1909 for x64-based Systems (KB4574727)" in cbs.log

not sure how to fix this; been searching for an answer, and possibly might have something to do with a missing package but i cant tell what the **** the package is here so yeah

tried directly downloading KB4574727 and installing it that way but it didn't work either

tried multiple easy fixes and whatnot? i don't know what to do nothing is working and im dumb as ****

asked a friend as well and they had the same problem with this specific update

    According to this error message, we should first attempt to repair component store corruption by running SFC /ScanNow and DISM /RestoreHealth with administrator:

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    If these fail to correct the issue then determine use the following steps:

    1. Create a new folder named as C:\temp\cab
    2. Download update package KB4574727 from http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Home.aspx to C:\temp
    3. Run command line below to exact .msu file for getting .cab file.
    4. expand -F:* C:\temp{.msu file name with extension} C:\temp\cab
    5. Run DISM command line below to add .cab file.
    6. Dism /online /add-package /packagepath:c:\temp\cab{.cab file with extension} Bests,

    Hello,

    Make sure you've the latest SSU (KB4576751) before installing this update.

    You can manually install the updates from Update Catalog.
