Sync Office365 Dsitributon group to onpremise.

Hello Guys,

I am able to sync the office365 type group from O365 to AD but I am not able to sync the Office365 distribution type group to the on-premises. Do I need to make any changes?

    That's the expected behavior, the writeback feature is only for Office 365 Groups.

    Do you mean the writeback feature?

    If so, as michev mentioned, writeback is not supported for other groups in O365. From the official document Azure AD Connect group writeback, we can see that "If you use the Microsoft 365 Groups feature, then you can have these groups represented in your on-premises Active Directory". So, writeback feature is only available for Microsoft 365 groups at present.

    If needed, you can post and vote for your requirement in Office365 UserVoice. Here is the same requirement: Allow Distribution lists writeback to local AD.
