unable to query traffic manager profile on IPV6 address from Ddsv5 VM sku but it works on ipv4

Customer has TM --> LB --> VMSS , they are able to query TM profile on ipv4 and ipv6 addresses from Ddsv2 sku but there couldnt query TM from Ddsv5 using ipv6 (works on ipv4). From ifconfig we noticed that ddsv5 doesn't have ipv6 global ip which we think unable to make outbound connectivity from the VM. Can someone help with mitigation?

As mentioned in Azure Traffic Manager FAQ,

Traffic Manager doesn’t currently provide IPv6-addressable name servers. However, Traffic Manager can still be used by IPv6 clients connecting to IPv6 endpoints. A client doesn’t make DNS request directly to Traffic Manager. Instead, the client uses a recursive DNS service. An IPv6-only client sends requests to the recursive DNS service via IPv6. Then the recursive service should be able to contact the Traffic Manager name servers using IPv4.

So, you need to enable IPv6 on the client (Ddsv5 sku) from where you are making a query to the Traffic Manager profile to make it work.
