Intune does not show phone number on fully managed Android devices.

Question

After enrolling some devices in Intune, we noticed that the phone number is not filled in the Intune inventory, we are enrolling the devices using Android Enterprise fully managed mode. What are we missing?

@Raphael Nascimento , From your description, I know the Phone number of some Android Enterprise fully managed devices is not shown in Intune. Based on my research, one possible cause can be that certain SIM cards will not write the data and phone number won’t get reported by Google.

We can insert the SIM card to other device like apple phone to see if we can get the Phone number.

It was exactly that, I inserted the sim card in an iPhone, and the number was engraved on it. I don't know why Android doesn't save, I'll check it later. Thank you very much.

Hi All,

I know this is a bit late but hopefully this will help someone in a similar issue, We had a similar issue with Corp iPhone devices, The fix was to go into the phone settings > phone and then populate the My Number field , reboot the device and initiate sync from Intune. when the My Number field is blank no number is reported to Intune.
