Microsoft Learn Virtual Courses

Hello,

I am new to the Microsoft Learn community and platform. There are a lot of different paths on the sitemap and I am feeling overwhelmed at the moment.

Could someone please point me to the virtual SQL Server certification courses shown in this link? See below:

sql-training.aspx
Note: Not sure if that hyperlink worked so here is the URL: www.microsoft.com/en-us/learning/sql-training.aspx

I want to become a SQL Server certified Developer and browsed through a lot of Microsoft's sitemap yesterday to get started and was unable to find the virtual courses for this certification. I noticed that they mentioned courses were shifting to virtual due to COVID-19 so I was confused when I was unable to find them.

I am assuming that I just have not followed the proper path within the map and missed a hyperlink somewhere.

Any and all help is appreciated. Thank you!

MVA learning is supported on their own forums. I'd try asking for help in dedicated forums here.

You can also browse and select paths here.

Hello @Cathyji-msft,

Thank you for the answers, but it still does not seem like there are online courses for the first step in the SQL Server path. See the courses listed here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/learning/sql-training.aspx

I want to begin with the Database Fundamentals. I have previous SQL Server knowledge, but I want to go through a comprehensive course from the beginning.

When I use your links, the closest I get is here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/certifications/mta-database-fundamentals

This link says that there are "Two Ways to Prepare": "Online - Free" or "Instructor-led - Paid"

Currently, there are no learning paths that are "Online - Free", but I do not want to go to an "Instructor-led - Paid" course because that seems to be in person and I do not want to risk that during these uncertain times. Is there a way to take an "Instructor-led - Paid" course online?
