SCCM console not working - Configuration Manager cannot connect to the site

Dear experts,

Out of sudden, my SCCM console is not working at my win 11 client machine. It's been working just fine since May 2022 and I didn't recall there was any system change in recent days.

Any idea how I can overcome this? I've tried reinstalling the client but it didn't make any difference.

    I was having the EXACT same issue. a colleague found the resolution for me. here's what worked for me:

    Open an elevated cmd prompt
    net stop MSDTC
    run MSDTC –uninstall
    Review event log: In Application Event Log message confirms that MSTDC was successfully uninstalled
    Run MSDTC –install
    Review event log: In Application Event Log message confirms that MSTDC was successfully installed
    net start MSDTC
    Reboot the machine

    SW's answer worked perfectly for me (taking into account that SCCM console was working for me before).

    But there is another important thing to begin with: the DCOM hardening is a feature that was introduced in the late 2022 year so if your OS system in where you have the console installed is not updated (talking about security updates), then it is likely that you get an error as well (assuming the server is updated and is using the DCOM feature and the remote computer is not), so you need to either update the remote computer that has the console or search for the exact KB package that has DCOM fix. Deactivating DCOM on the server works but it is not recommended due to security issues (either both the server and remote computer have to have DCOM enabled or both have to have it disabled).

    Came here to comment. I was working in the console. When something happened. When I tried to relaunch, I had this exact same error.

    These steps restored the console. Thanks!
