Hello!
After I accept an invitation which I received through email on outlook.office.com/mail/, the email is moved to the 'Deleted Items'.
Is there any way to disable this?
Update - Adding additional info:
I am on a company mail server, perhaps there is group policy that prevents these options taking effect? But if that was the case, such options shouldn't even be visible to me.
The browser I am using is Microsoft Edge - Version 106.0.1370.86.

Sorry it took me so long to get back on this. I was expecting to receive email updates in case someone replies, but didn't.
Thank you for your inputs @Vasil Michev , @ChristyZhang-MSFT and @Vinodh247-1375 . I've set all the options as per your screenshots, but that has no effect. Any meeting email I accept is moved to the deleted section. Just tested it again to confirm.
@Vinodh247-1375 I changed those on my desktop outlook, but they didn't help. Are those options even relevant if I am using the web version of outlook, as mentioned in the post?

This started happening for me today. Meeting invitation acceptance messages go straight to my deleted items. I moved these into my inbox, and after I then went to my inbox to check, found that they had been moved again into my deleted items. I moved them into another folder, went straight to deleted items. This is concerning because I need to know when someone has accepted a meeting invitation but if those messages are moved to deleted items I might not notice the message. And of course checked all the above settings which do not affect the issue. This is O365 on Win11.
Yes, open Settings > Calendar > Events and invitations (or directly https://outlook.office.com/mail/options/calendar/eventAndInvitations) and toggle the Delete invitations and responses that have been updated setting.

This pseudo solution doesn't work. What is the need to delete invitations, for those of us who do not share calendars or use MS/Apple calendar, because we do not need it or because it is our preference as customers? It only makes us miss information about, times, place, zoom links, etc. The most absurd feature throughout all MS suite. Even more annoying that that paper clip helper from the 90's.
probably you should uncheck few boxes in your outlook settings, like below.

Hello all! I hope someone finds this helpful. After some frustration with this situation and after trying many of the suggestions offered I was able to resolve the issue! I created a new Outlook profile. Using Control Panel, Mail, Profiles, create new profile, let it finish and set to always open using that new profile. Launch Outlook. You still have all your old rules, you have your folder structure, you have your shared mailboxes. AND you have your meeting acceptance notices right there in your inbox. Shiny and New. No more looking to see if deleted items has unread items in there. Success! Thank you , Paul

I have the same problem in outlook on both my ipad, iphone and Windows PC - if I accept a Teams invitation it automatically disappears and can only be found in my deleted folder. It doesn't save in my calendar. I'm currently using the new Outlook app and I don't seem to have the boxes above that Vinodh is showing

I'm having the same issue on Windows Mail and an external IMAP account. This is just not right, I lose the information in the invitations every time I reply to said invitation?!?!?!
Is there any way to avoid this?
