unfortunately there is no command-line to change the Group Policies in the GUI.....:(
What the registry has configured is what counts in the end.......True....but in my case registry has configured but changes not taking place even GPUpdate /Force, server rebooted and restart the windows update service and Update Orchestrator Service.
let me try on other server OS and build. I will let you know the result.
Thank you for your response.
I missed mentioning that after creating the registry I tried GPUpdate /Force, even the server rebooted too, also tried to restart the windows update service and Update Orchestrator Service................but Check for updates won't get gets grayed out.
It works only by editing local group policy and then registry generates. But only create registry keys manually, the changes will not take effect.
Hence, I was looking for a command to trigger the GPO setting without using GUI (gpedit.msc)
will this command also make changes in local group policy or just create a registry?
