Actually, i dont want to make changes to masterpage. I want to use a simple javascript code for a custom HTML form and for that i am using script editor but it doesnot seem to work as expected. So my guess is that since there are custom masterpage changes in the site , my script is not working as expected because it is working fine in another team site.
I also tried to add jquery-3.6.0.js like you suggested in the master page. But the results are same
