You sure it's about EWS?
By default Outlook has nothing with EWS, except some users installing some add ins. You can try opening Outlook in safe mode to prevent some or all add-ins from being loaded:
outlook.exe /safe
FYI, you can use Set-WebServicesVirtualDirectory to change authentification of EWS: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/exchange/set-webservicesvirtualdirectory?view=exchange-ps

If so you can remove the mailboxes from this batch and re-create move batch.

If you can receive exampledomain.com without the mail flow rule, you only need to specify notallowedemails.com in my picture.
