Thanks @CyrAz I did what you said and it works

I understand concept of classes and dash boarding without using computer class. What is for me strange is that Microsoft is not consistent with it is strategy of MPs. Looks like just the SQL MP is now completely separated and other ones do have dependency monitors to either computer role, operation system or local application. I find it much easier to disable those dependency monitors than writing dependency on your own. Another case is about explanation to end users why when some nonsense service or event occurred in one MP and computer is in critical health and SQL is completely down and servers looks fresh (green-healthy) as never. Just my thoughts

Hi @StoyanChalakov, Yes we are using this new MP without hosted relation to Windows Computer Role, so I was wondering if there is a way to create this hierarchy relation in separated MP somehow?
I guess it would require separated discovery and another abstract class or it is not possible at all ?

I know it is old topic but maybe someone is searching for answer like I did today.

There is monitor for Health Service Watcher class called "Performance data collection health" for performance and another one for Events. This should alert when no performance or events are stored in DB.

Hi,

Thanks for the answer. Unfortunately I can't upgrade open ssl there as this is appliance and I wouldn't like to change other things than just install SCOM agent on it.

II thought that maybe SCOM 2012R2 Unix agent would work
