Thanks for the answers. That seems odd that it was available and has been actively disabled for Linux users. I had thought Microsoft was going all in on Linux, with WSL and such. I personally haven't used Windows for over 10 years and Teams would not be our choice of software here but was the decision of my partners company. Her work doesn't supply a computer so my laptop is the only available machine we have with a web camera.
The teams app itself is an Electron app isn't it? So I don't see any reason why it would be different regardless of the installation platform.
