Hi Gary,

Currently the GPO setup looks like below but I have not added any pac file details or the Users link yet.

Can you confirm the below is ok and if I link to the Users OU it will only apply to the users and machines in the Security Group?

Thanks very much for your help. Its appreciated.

Hi Gary,

Sorry for not responding sooner - I was away.

Would it be possible to create the GPO with user policies and apply the Security Filtering to a computer?

This way I could target the individual computers rather than apply against the users OU.

Regards.

Hi Hannah,

please see my reply below.

User still getting issue. I have posted the GPO below. What exactly is taking precedence in this case and do I need to move the GPO up or down in position in order to resolve this?

Hi ColinFord-6663

Here are the results from the gpresult and they confirm what you suspected, however, although I know how its getting set, I don't know why its getting set because I have created a client object and applied it to a collection which has got the Server in it. For the client policy I have ensured that it is not to receive updates.

So it begs the question why its still getting populated?

Any further ideas how I am able to stop this being populated?

Hi Amandayou,

I have looked at the article.

We already have a task sequence all I want to do is create an image package with windows 2004. But I also have to have the language packs installed also.

Is it just a case of creating an image package with the downloaded iso?

Regards.

thanks Amandayou-MSFT I will take a look at this article.

Regards.
