Same problem. Haven't been able to access paypal account for almost a year now. Impossible to turn off passwordless login in iPhone or iPad. Authenticator has locked me out because only produces 8-digit codes. Does anyone know how to get 6-digit codes again? Tried all solutions mentioned in Q & A but nothing works.
