Thanks to the efforts of our US support colleagues Karan Gulati and Jon Burchel we now have an updated version of the SSAS performance guide available. 

The "Analysis Services MOLAP Performance Guide for SQL Server 2012 and 2014" document can be downloaded from MSDN via the following link:

As the name suggests it contains advice on how to optomize performance of multi-dimensional (MD) Analysis Services Instances.
