Red Hat’s Cloud Access enabled for Microsoft Azure Germany
We are pleased to announce the expansion of the Microsoft and Red Hat partnership to Azure customers in Germany. This provides Azure Germany customers additional options to migrate their Red Hat subscriptions to Microsoft Azure Germany, a Microsoft cloud with German data trustee. This extends Microsoft Azure’s certification as a Red Hat Certified Cloud and Service Provider (CCSP) to now serve regulated and public sector customers via Microsoft Azure Germany.
Red Hat’s Cloud Access now enables our customers to move their Red Hat subscription between physical or on-premises systems to the Microsoft Azure Germany cloud platform.
Red Hat products enabled for Cloud Access on Azure Germany include Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.7 and above and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2 and above, Red Hat JBoss Middleware, Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and Red Hat Gluster Storage. For any subscriptions that migrate, you will continue to maintain your direct relationship with Red Hat even when your subscription benefits move to Microsoft Azure Germany.
In order to register your existing or newly-purchased Red Hat subscription for Red Hat Cloud Access, please follow the steps outlined here. You can also learn more about how to prepare your images to deploy into Microsoft Azure Germany here.
Microsoft Azure Germany is a unique offering designed to address organizations and enterprises operating in data-sensitive areas such as the public, financial or health sector.
