Synchronize your Outlook and Redmine experience with Ahau Software

Outlook Add-in leverages Azure technology’s versatility with Redmine’s Ruby on Rails project management capabilities to revolutionize the user email experience.

Ahau Software is a Belarus based startup revamping the user Outlook email experience with their new application Redmine Outlook Add-in. Outlook Add-in allows the user to integrate Outlook emails and tasks with Redmine’s open source project management web application in seconds, making it possible to synchronize issues, projects, contacts and calendars, while providing quick access to attachments and messages in users Redmine accounts.

Compatibility with open source technologies was a big reason for Ahau’s decision to leverage Azure platforms with their new product says Co-owner Antony Novitsky. “Outlook Add-in’s reliance on Redmine made open source compatibility a necessity for us. Redmine is a cross-platform, cross-database technology running Ruby on Rails, and Azure allows Outlook Add-in to run flawlessly with Redmine.”

Outlook Add-in combines the project management capabilities of Redmine with the organizational tools of Outlook - enabling the user to make changes to issues and projects in Outlook and synchronizing them with Redmine, in real time

A BizSpark member, Ahau utilizes Azure, Visual Studio and Clickonce to enable Outlook Add-in’s self-updating capabilities continues Novitsky, “Visual Studio and Clickonce provide us with a platform experienced in integration and portability, delivering us and our users high performance and secure solutions based on Microsoft Azure.”
