Life Cycle: WSS 3.0 & MOSS 2007 move to Extended Support.


WSS 3.0 and MOSS 2007 products get into Extended Support from henceforth, as you can read in the following link.

Once a product moves into extended support, several changes take place:

  • Request to change product design and features (CDCR's)

Customer can't ask for CDCR's.

  • Non-Security Fixes

Customer can ask and get Security fixes. However, ever, non-security hotfixes (RFH) will not be offered unless the customer purchase an Extended Hotfix Support Agreement witin next 90 days.

  • Complementary Support.

Support also ends for Enterprise Agreement custoemrs-

  • Paid Support.
