Canadian teams execute amazingly well at the World finals--the team from the University of Calgary on stage at the 2013 worlds winning $10,000. Take this opportunity to get involved for 2014!

Imagine Cup 2014 invites students around the world to use creativity and passion to create applications‚ games and integrated solutions that can change the way people live‚ work and play. Every student team needs a mentor – someone to inspire them and help them make their idea a game–changer. That’s where you come in. You can help students apply what they’ve learned in the classroom to succeed in building something great.
One of the teams will also win a trip to the Microsoft headquarters in Seattle‚ Washington for the Imagine Cup World Finals‚ to compete for the coveted Imagine Cup trophy and $50‚000 grand prize. Wonder if a Canadian team can make a splash? Just ask Team Sano from the University of Calgary. At the Imagine Cup 2013 Worldwide Finals‚ they took home the KFC Russia award. Their project will be featured at the Kentucky Fried Chicken flagship store in Moscow and they received a $10‚000 cash prize. This year’s major competitions Games Great games come from anywhere‚ and people play them everywhere. If they build one‚ your students could win big! Innovation We’re looking to see what amazing things you can do with Microsoft technology. World Citizenship This category asks what you can do to make the world a better place through technology.
