I am VERY Excited to Announce: Sydney CRM usergroup is Back!
After much positive feedback from the local CRM community, and a great response to our Survey to understand what you all want from your CRM usergroup – I am very excited that the Sydney CRM usergroup will be kicking off once again!! :)
The group will be run at 6pm on the 4th Tuesday of every month, in the Microsoft Office in North Ryde. The first meeting will be held THIS MONTH on the 27th of January 2009!
Not only will there be some great topics, but you get the added bonus that each session will feature an introduction that gives you the latest updates, news and product direction information from the local Microsoft Dynamics Team.
The first two topics we have locked in will be:
Tuesday 27th of January: Welcome Back & CRM Accelerators!
There has been a lot of changes in the CRM space since our last Sydney CRM usergroup, so we will discuss what's been going on, what’s new and then our local CRM MVP and Usergroup lead Guy Riddle will run a session on the Extra functionality in the latest CRM accelerators – focusing on the Events Management & newly released eService modules.
Tuesday the 24th of February: How To Build A Kick Arse Startup on CRM 4.0
Come and listen to Chris Auld from Sunny New Zealand as he talks about how he built a successful startup business on Microsoft CRM 4.0.
Chris and his friends started MedRecruit.com from scratch in late 2006. Since then it has grown to a multi-million dollar business and it’s been nominated for a bunch of technical and business awards in New Zealand. Chris will talk about how they’ve combined the power of ASP.NET with an efficient CRM based back end to enable a really efficient and profitable business model.
This session will touch on a bit of everything, from Customer Portals to business models to CRM Workflows.
We are finalising dates & presenters for the sessions after February but topics already include:
A look at the CRM Mobile Client & 10 Digits Mobile Application for CRM
Focus on Business Intelligence – from building custom reports to a review of the CRM Analytics Accelerator
Lessons learnt working with customising an Internet Facing Deployment of CRM 4.0
So its going to be great! If you have any topics you would like to see presented or would be interested in presenting on something yourself – we will be looking for companies who want to present anything from a short case study to an entire topic – so feel free to contact either myself or Guy Riddle directly or via our blogs.
We are in the process of updating the www.MSCRM.com.au website so keep an eye on that and make sure and sign up to the Sydney CRM usergroup mailing list here so we can keep you up to date on the upcoming sessions!!
A big thank you to Guy Riddle for kicking this off once again!!
