This short article is to provide information regarding Dynamics CRM 2013 On Premises and with Update Rollup 3 (6.00.0003.0106).

CRM 2013 UR3 is supported by the Dynamics CRM Team but it is correct that CRM 2013 product defect fixes will only be applied to CRM 2013 SP1 and beyond.

The reasoning for this is due to the Product & Developer Teams having only 1 path for fixes for CRM 2013, and this indeed is from SP1 level.

New features were introduced with the SP1 release for CRM 2013.

This means that product defects that could be experienced on Rollup 3 version, may be fixed on the Sp1+ versions and customers would be required to be on the SP1+ branch of CRM 2013 to receive future fixes and releases for CRM 2013.

Update Rollup 3 for SP1 (6.01.0003.0119) can be downloaded from here (latest version of CRM 2013 at time of writing)
