In 2 weeks the Global Corporate Challenge Begins!

My team and I have signed up for the
Global Corporate Challenge. It started as a challenge from the boys from Readify, and well, we're all up for a
challenge!

I recently received the Welcome Pack and have distributed it to the team
members - Andrew, Chuck, David, Dave, Jeff, Michael.

What is this all about?? Well, we get to wear an official GCC Pedometer for 6
months. Each day we record in the steps we walked into the GCC website, and this plots how far we
have walked around the world.

Now, the GCC is not a race. But
since we were challenged by those Readifyians,
we're going to at least be competitive. As the team captain, I have asked each
member to average 10,000 steps a day.  A big ask, but it
can only lead to good things.

So, this officially kicks off May 25. This gives us 2 weeks to get used to
our new friend the GCC Pedometer.

Me - I'm going to start taking the stairs from the carpark each day. That
will be good for a 1000 steps or so.

BTW - The Global Corporate Challenge
website is a huge Flash application, sitting on a server running IIS6. It's an award winnning site, by award
winning web development company Reative Media
