Little Aussie Battlers do good

It wasn't just the Aussie Soccer team that were winners this week.

Local secretgeek, Leon Bambrick, in conjunction with his icelandic colleague Atli Björgvin Oddsson, won the Grand Prize in the Larkware 2005 Programming Contest.

As Leon told me in an email:

This is a huge win for us, and I think it's a good thing for Australia too. Now we can proudly say that our nation doesn't just export sheep, beer and political bigotry, but computer software too. ;-)

(Our winning entry was a tiny program called Snapper, which is an 'Automatic Screenshot Journal', designed to help people write their timesheets at the end of the week)

It is a huge win indeed. Go you good thing!!

Let's put out an Aussie chant for our Little Aussie Battlers:

Aussie! Aussie! Aussie! Oi! Oi! Oi!

Aussie! Aussie! Aussie! Oi! Oi! Oi!

Aussie! Oi!

Aussie! Oi!

Aussie! Aussie! Aussie! Oi! Oi! Oi!
