Events this Week – November 11th, 2008

Today is Veteran’s Day here in the U.S. – take time if you can to thank a vet, and keep your thoughts and/or prayers with those currently deployed for their safe return.

Here are the events listed in Community Megaphone for the next week (or so) for the Mid-Atlantic area:

To enhance the user experience, the application will employ asynchronous processing to provide a non-blocking user interface. In addition, the application will feature Drag-n-Drop capabilities that have previously been difficult in a web based environment. While Silverlight provides the basic requirements for Drag-n-Drop, Ryan and Ranjit will present a framework they have developed to provide this capability.
