SOLID Development in Pictures

While I can’t claim to be a huge adherent of any particular set of development principles (I admire others’ passion in this area, but I’m very pragmatic when it comes to getting a given task done…there are lots of ways to do it, many of which can be “right” depending on your goals), and not remotely an expert in the set of principles known collectively as SOLID, I did find this collection of “motivational” pictures illustrating the concepts to be both amusing and illuminating.

I’ll tease you with the first one:

My two favorites involve ducks and what can only be described as a Swiss Army…thing.

Go check out the whole collection, and keep them in mind while you’re developing your next app…not as ironclad rules. But as good ideas to live by.
