Got Azure Stack Up and Running at Home

I took some time out today and started the installation process for the new technical preview for Azure Stack. I can say from at least a setup standpoint I am impressed. I followed the directions and really did not have any issues. A couple of things that the document doesnt really make clear in my opinion.

 

1. Your base server is still available to do other items. The hard drives will be consumed but the base 2016 Preview OS is still in place (you can use your own as long as it is current on patches) the rest of the systems runs as virtuals.

2. Dont name your server AzureStack. It will fail the prerequisites.
