Gotdotnet Party...You're invited!

If you are a Gotdotnet community member and you will be in the Seattle area this Friday, I invite you to join me and the rest of the Gotdotnet team--past and present--to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the first ever .NET Website, which launched on November 15, 2000.

Come on down and meet the gurus, goddesses, and codeslingers who made Gotdotnet rock, as well as the current team members who are passionately dedicated to making it even better in the future. Take a walk down memory lane with PM Betsy Aoki, play Xbox against the GDN devs, report a issue to our test lead, Pete Coupland, or peer into the future with Product Manager, Korby Parnell, Program Manager, Jim Newkirk, or our fearless leader Sandy Khaund.

Are we crazy? Well, yes. We are crazy about Gotdotnet and every single one of the half million developer and IT professionals who visit Gotdotnet each month. If you don't happen to live in the Seattle area, this event will not be Webcast and anyway, beer and cake don't travel too well over the Internet. However, keep a lookout for a Gotdotnet event in your region sometime in the coming year. The Gotdotnet team is acting locally now but thinking globally for tomorrow.
