Abstract

During this developer dinner we will focus on understanding the importance of the “parallel computing shift” and also the technologies introduced in .NET 4 that are easing this transition. The presentation will discuss why we need to be interested in Parallel Computing, Microsoft's initiative in this space, the improvements made to System. Threading to enable parallelism and consequently the extensions to the Microsoft .NET Framework will be accompanied with demonstrations.
